With its broad expertise in safety & security related research and its experience in conducting important research projects, AIT serves as consortial leader for IoT4CPS lighthouse project. Furthermore, AIT contributes to the analysis and verification of methods, tools and processes regarding safety & security aspects within the IoT environment, as well as to security related aspects along the IoT lifecycle.

 

AVL leads WP 2 (Use-Case Objectives) and WP8 (Impact Creation) in IoT4CPS, contributing engineering knowledge related to Cyber-Physical systems, Internet of Things and powertrain engineering and experience from tool development for automotive development environment and integration of advanced CPS and IoT components

Within IoT4CPS NXP will focus on examination and application of holistic and secure traceability concepts along the entire production and product lifecycle. This applies to components and/or sub-systems and spans the whole life-cycle from production to operation, and can include equipment and tooling aspects during development.

 

Within IoT4CPS SBA Research is responsible for the publication and presentation of the results delivered by the other work packages. In order to generate awareness and impact, both, scientific dissemination through reputable conferences and journals as well as interaction with industrial and governmental stakeholders shall be covered.

SRFG's role in the IoT4CPS project is to design and implement the major concepts of the Digital Twin in the Automotive Industry and Manufacturing use cases. Our design and implementation tasks cover the capturing of the domain knowledge for industrial Life Cycle data models and methods to collect real time data from devices and attach them to the dynamic Digital Twin model. SRFG leads WP5 and the expected benefits include predictive models and integration with external cloud infrastructures.

 

Within the IoT4CPS projects SCCH contributes its expertise in the areas of automated test case generation (software science) and machine learning (data science) to develop new methods for security verification and analysis. In addition SCCH leads the development of an analytical toolbox to support operational security.

 

TTTech is a global leader in the field of robust networking and safety controls. Within IoT4CPS project TTTech will work on the next-generation of safe, secure and high-performance platforms for autonomous driving.

The Institute of Technical Informatics focuses on life cycle management, design methods, and system architectures for Industrial IoT systems with an emphasis on trustworthy individualized configuration of IoT devices.

 
The primary research focus of TU Wien within IoT4CPS project will be to study IoT resilient architectures and to develop new computational methods which support the automated analysis of safety and security properties in cyber-physical systems.

 
 
X-Net Services GmbH implements test beds and develops guidelines to increase security of IoT products and to enable a secure set-up of production environments. Security by Isolation methods are used to maximise the security level of each single production unit.
